But the reality is a little bit different

You want to lose weight, and keep it off forever? 

Here’s 6 things you need to know about losing weight:

1. Yes it’s a case of eat less and move more. Losing weight is simple, but it’s not easy – you’re a complicated human being

2. Yes you can eat chocolate and drink alcohol, but not all the time. You will have to sacrifice somewhere 

3. It can be lonely, and you’ll think you’re the only one in the world feeling lost, stuck and helpless – your mind is an important part of this puzzlelike we talk about in this blog here

4. Get okay with enjoying the process, not every day is going to be a walk in the park, you’re going to struggle to stay consistent sometimes 

5. Ignore anyone that tells you, you can’t eat carbs, or that you won’t lose weight if you don’t eat enough – listen to the science and you’ll end up a lot happier in the long run

6. With that being said, it’s about finding the right path for you, because once you do, you’ll be able to look in the mirror again, you’ll fit into smaller sized clothes forever, and wake up every day with a spring in your step
